I just put a stock VR6 back in with the Kinetic motorsports turbo kit that originally had on my other engine. there is a Neuspeed ECU in my car should I get re-programed? My air fuel ratio is running high at all ranges from idle to driving, The boost wont hold either at 8lbs. I need to check for vacuume leaks. Is there any way to check for boost leaks with out having to bring it to a dyno?

I'm running rich, which is better than running lean! I've stopped driving it until i get all the bugs out! Not allot of people know what a VR6T is in central minnesota. LOL! basically i'm on my own!

according to my gauge 20 or higher. i have heard that 14.5 to 15 is suppose to be optimal, is that true? it wont run lean even if i kick it down.

Yeah, dude, that's way lean. Smaller numbers are rich, bigger numbers are lean, its parts of air per parts of fuel. More parts air per parts of fuel is lean. In boost you want to be 12.5:1 MAX preferably around 12:1 to be safe. Cruising out of boost 14:1 - 15:1 is fine and will net you a lil better MPG.
You keep driving that thing at those AF's you WILL destroy that motor. What is happening is you are lean-backfiring and then the motor falls on it's face because there simply isnt enough fuel to even sustain combustion any more. You aren't hitting a rev limiter.

damn, i was just gonna say its the muffler bearings but your probably right a/f ratio. but just to be safe, check the bearings

boy do i feel like a dumb a**! thank goodness I'm not driving the car! Guess i will just keep the 93 buick on the road, till i get proper fuel system! few people have told me that C2 motorsports is good! would you recommend them or another company?
