possibly people with the Mk3 dash. But you'd need to convert to OBD1 or OBD2 to run the cluster. So usually people only do it if they're putting in an OBD1/2 engine (VR6).

yes eric...Ghostrider has an aba motor and a jetta gt cluster

sorry the pic is so small....
same procedure as the vr.
and no..... it would be poitless to try and wire the cluster without having the engine to match... corrado is way easier since its still a speedo cable and not an electro-plug.
