So my buddy and I decided to paint the tow hook on my GLI red. Why you ask? Well, why not?
Image

Here we sanded down the hook so the paint would bond better.

We made sure we left no chance for us to hit the bumper with the paint we were using. Better safe than sorry. And thats my buddy on the ground.

End Result. Not to shabby. I like it, and it took all of 15 minutes so Huzzah.

And thats that. And yes, my car is not currently dumped. I apologize for the 4x4 status.
Cheers!

FV-QR

A little paranoid with the masking! But I can dig it.

Re: Nice day, nothing to do. So.. (AlexTheGreat89)

looks goo, but primer makes paint bond better so when it rusts up sooner than you think, use some the next go around. next time you want to paint something like that, just take a scuff it up and use some red por-15 since you don't need primer and that ish is like liquid concrete.

omg.. what a waste of time.

A waste of 15 minutes on a boring day? Don't think so. And the over prepping is just two giant pieces of paper taped to my bumper

Pretty simple/quick.
Thanks for the comments.
