How's it going guys...i was saving up over the winter for a engine/tranny/SC rebuild when the spring and summer come along.
I've heard NGP is very good with VW's and thinking about having them do my engine/tranny rebuild.
Anyone had work done by them?? Specifically engine/tranny work??
How was their work and cost??
Just a recap, i have a 1990 g60 with 129,xxx miles.
Thanks in advance guys.

Re: Anyone had work done by NGP in the MD area??? (vdubin90)

I'm probably just sticking my nose in here out of nowhere. But my friend who bought a Corrado that had it's VR6 put in there BY NGP (it was a swap, obviously), eventually had to give it up. Mostly cause the Cat Converter was just sucky. That and when we opened it up it turns out that alot of the wiring from the engine was just cut. Like they didn't even try to connect the wires together. They just cut them and left it in there. That's MY closest experience with them (and that's from like the third person perspective, so take that as you will)

I have never heard of NGP doing that. I have taken my car there for some stuff to get done and they know their poop. I wouldn't take it to any other VW shop.
