Haha yes that is a 2.slow, that belt would be even longer if I were running a/c.
The bottom end and head are stock with about 68k miles. New valve springs, new TT assymetrical cam. I keep forgetting which one. The Neuspeed supercharger with the stock pulley will run at 7lbs boost. It should put out about 160 hp at the crank, the torque numbers should be higher than that. Once its been running for a couple of months I will upgrade to a smaller 2.6" pulley which should net about 9 psi total. I will also be bolting a nice tranny onto this babyas well. 16v 2y with a 3.94 R&P out of a 4k with a .80 5th for cruising and a lightened flywheel as well. All in all, it may not be a 300 hp monster but this combinatioon have good power and a very nice torque curve whch should be extremely fun.

that looks like a really sweet set-up, i was going to save for one, but decided to go with a different kind of hamster wheel.....this is going on before summer i hope if everything goes to plan

Turbo is defenitely the way to go for big power. The neuspeed system isn't inter-cooled, and to inter-cool it would be a huge project because of the design. You can run more than 9 psi with even smaller pulleys, but by them it is becoming innefficient due to hot air. The guys that do the are running water injection to combat that. I have no desire to play with that. The up-side is that our A2 are lighter than the cars these were designed for. The 3.94 R&P helps too

Also to give credit is due, I got the idea to build this from Blubayu, He is the first, and to my knowledge still the only one running this type of set-up in an A2.
