depends what car you have.... if you already have a gti or gli... then yes... if it isn't then sorta yes... if you don't have a gti or golf then you need to put in a gti or gli engine wiring harness.... it has the knock controlled timing advance versus your vaccum advance.... not too bad of swap once you get the wiring in..
