Hey. I thought I'd come up with a list of all the European-branded cars ever made in U.S. (okay, I'll accept Canada too). Am I missing anything?
Renault Alliance
Renault GTA (Alliance-based version)
Renault Medallion
VW GTI (Mk II)
VW Routan
Mercedes ML
BMW Z3
BMW Z4
BMW M Coupe
Saab 9-7x

IIRC:
BMW 318i
Mercedes GL
Mercedes R
Mk1 Rabbit (Westmorland's finest!)
The Saturn Astra was not made in the USA. I believe the Renault Alliance, GTA and Medallion were imported as well.

* Volvo 940
* Volvo S70 and Volvo V70 = 8200 units in 1997
In Halifax, Nova-Scotia from 1963, closed in 1998.

Ummm, isn't Canada a separate country from the US?

It's called the Sintra

Years ago I filled in for a guy for a few days at the port where they were shipping these out of the country. Our job was to go around and put two gallons of gas in each one.
It was strange seeing the third pedal in them. The drivers loading them onto the boat were showing them no mercy. It was hilarious hearing minivans go screaming by at 6000+ RPM.

The shorter version of the R-Class (we don't get it here) is only exported.

They do final assembly on lots of import cars at the ports. Mercedes Benz vans (sold as a Dodge Sprinter for example) included. Upcoming Saab 9-4X is to be assembled in Mexico FWIW.

I believe the Renault Alliance, GTA and Medallion were imported as well.

Renault Alliance, Encore, GTA: made in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA
Renault Premier (a.k.a. Eagle Premier, Dodge Monaco): made in Canada
Renault Medallion (a.k.a. Eagle Medallion): made in France
In addition to the Rabbit, Pickup, Golf, and GTI, VW also built some Mk2 Jettas at Westmoreland -- probably all 4-door GL gas engine models from what I've seen.

Medallion (aka Renault 21) was imported from France... never made here. The hatchback version of Alliance is called Encore (Renault 9 and 11 respectively). Some may argue Eagle Premiere should be on this list too but since it was never sold under the Renault name and actually significantly different from the Renault 25 from which it is based (i.e. it is really an American car designed while AMC was under Renault ownership), I don't think it counts.
You are missing BMW X5, X6, 318i, Mercedes R, GL, Opel GT (Saturn Sky), Opel Sintra (minivan), and VW Rabbit, Jetta (and Caddy?).
Dodge and Frightliner Sprinter is kind of a dicy case... it is definitely an European vehicle but never officially sold as a Mercedes so I don't know if it applies to your list.
