i would like a carbon fiber hood for the mark 4.i think it adds personality.. in a perfect world i would like a carbon boser.. of course i would like a seal gray carrera type S as well. back to reality .. jack stewart is 2 today .. i was the only dub in a sea of minnie vans at mavericks today. i use 2 n's don't question it . i had a spirited ride back from hartwell this morning .. i had to roll up a couple of guys in a honda to pass the time ..they just smiled and pointed ..i just waved bye.

Russell and I are going to hit the Athens area on Sunday and spam all the VWs we see with info on our little club. Our intent is to make the club a little bigger.
I typed up a flyer and, with a little help from my very creative wife who made it look cool, we will hit all the major parking areas and drop one off at each Dub we see.
I got 50 of them and if we find that many Dubs to spam, I will be a happy man.

I think Russell and I spammed 15-20 Dubs & Audis around the Athens area today. Next time it will be on a Saturday. People have a tendancy to stay in on Sundays.
Hope we get some response.
And speaking of Sunday, this is a Sunday Bump.

I have all the bushings, etc to replace all the rear upper shock mountings. Did the fronts a month ago and the rears are just as old as the fronts were and I also noticed my butt was dragging.
On my car, too.

On the way home from work tonight, my coolant flange decided to let go. Therefore I lost all my coolant and subsequently was then on the side of 85 just north of the Mall of GA exit. If you saw me and didn't stop, I'm hurt.
Tried to get a rescue from Russell, but he was unavailable. It then cost me $125.00 to get towed home.
Fortunately, I had a new flange at home in my parts bin. I switched it out, filled it up with some fresh 50/50 and all is well again.
Anyway, how was your day?

And you didn't call me why? I even have a metal coolant flange from my old 8v block.

I always wanted a metal flange on my Digifant motor. I had one too, I just didn't want to bother with swapping to threaded sensors.

Russell... call me and we can work out a rendezvous for you to get your saw. I brought it with me in the truck every day last week, but I never heard from you.
