How many of you have been in a stage 3 S4? I was lucky enough to get a ride in one over the summer. If you were at waterfest it was the silver motopersona car in the vortex booth. Poewr was unreal, the really was silly fast, thats the only way I can't describe it. It really was a great car to drive around it, pulled from all the way down low right to the red line. Personally I think bikes are cool but they are deathertraps, stage 3 S4 for me anyday

954RR is a great bike. Don't limit yourself to the R1.. ride the RR and the GSXR750 and see which one you like the most. Not sure if RC51 is in the same price-class, but the twin is really in a different performance class.. insane performance too!
As for S4.. Stage 3 S4 is insane for a car, but the fact it isn't a ''death trap'' is exactly the reason.. there's no feeling of wind-in-your-face, close to earth, insane lean-angle, front-wheel-raising up sensation. Plus, nothing is safe, and all risks are manageable.

how many of you have ridden a sportbike? after you feel the acceleration of a sportbike at full throttle, you start to lose your awe of the acceleration of cars. i know i have. i stand by what i said. i would get a bike.

I am leaning towards the bike too. What worries me is the reliability and costs of having a K04 kit. I love my S4 and it has so far been very reliable. I worry about having serious engine troubles 20000 miles down the road.
And top of that, i miss my bike. I havent had one in 2 years now and everytime i see a bike going down the road, i am envious (unless its raining really hard).
