1984 Rabbit GTI 136k 5 speed. Semi running, Lots of extra parts, Located in Chicago suburbs $1900obo

Hello everyone,
$1900obo

Here are the details on the car. I purchased this car about 2 months ago from a seller here on the tex. i paid 1200 bucks for the car in the condition it was in. The car has RUST. the passenger side pinch weld is basically shot and there is a hole in the spare tire well along with some surface rust. All of which can be repaired however i dont own a welder and i am not a metal guy. The car is missing a headliner.
The Rabbit is a 2 door and it has seen beter days. it has 136k miles the timing belt was done according to the previous owner. the car has a newer clutch and a diesle 5th gear swaped in. I bought this car with intentions of making it my daily driver.
The car had its issues when i got it and i have been in the process of reparing and fixing those issues.
I have replaced the radiator with a brand new one and new coolant and thermostat. The oil pressure sender is new along with that the car go an oil change. I have put in brand new spark plugs, wires, cap, coil and starter. Also i new air filter. i figured a 25 year old car could use some general tune ups. the tires on the car were dry rotted. so i picked up a new set of snowflakes with tires. The gas tank had a right turn issue and fuel leaks. So i was going to replace it. During that time i decided that i wanted to do the 16v brake swap and get rid of the rear drums. So i picked up a used gas tank and parts for the brake swap. i have put the new tank in and most of the braking components are in. The car did start and run after i swaped the gas thank however i could not drive it due to the fact i had no working brakes. i havent been able to finish the swap due to lack of $$$, time and general knowledge. So here is a list of goodies the car has and what needs to be done.
1.8L 8v JH motor with 5 speed trans w/diesel 5th gear.
Some type of suspention is on the car it has Boge stuts but i dont know what springs it is lower than stock height.
Euro sport K bar
TT cat back exhaust.
New ignigtion components
a full set of Spare Snowflakes with bad tires. Good tires and snowflakes currently on the car.
New radiator,
All brake components that were originally on the car are included too and they were in working condition untill the lines ruptured.
New gas tank is in the car. i have the old gas tank if its wanted.
16v front brakes are mounted they are the 10.1" rotors. the calipers have been painted and there are brand new pads and rotors.
The rear beam has been painted and has new pads new 9.4"rotors, new wheel bearing, one caliper is not installed. I have new ebrake cables that need to be installed.
The old brake booster bracket and mastercyclinder are off the car. i have the new 22mm master cyclinder and two scirocco proprotioning valvles along with brake booster that need to be installed. the brake booster may not mate up to the pedal assembly but i just purchased a new pedal assembly off a mk2 jetta. All new hard brake lines need to be ran. i have new soft brake line for the front brakes and the ones connecting to the rear beam.
If you can finish the brakes the car will run and stop perfect. and at that point the car will be almost new powertrain wise and will just need cosmetic work. I have spent at least another $1000 on parts for this car I have titled and registered and have a CLEAN TITLE IN HAND.
Please note that the car will have to be towed since there are no brakes.
Here is the link with picture from the seller that i bought this from.

Ive had like 1 offer on this car is it really that bad? i know the price is a bit high but throw some offers at me people.

So how much work needs to be done? after reading the post from the previous owner, is there still a minor oil leak or has that been fixed? Also what are the current miles on it? Thanks
