Re: 17x9 offsets...looking for some input (Clyde Smith)

Well the wheel specs are 17x8 offset 50 17x9 offset 53.....im running 205/40/17 all around on kpsorts. ....... unsure if i want the final ET in the rear to be 20 or 15. Im thinking 15 might be harshhh

Re: 17x9 offsets...looking for some input (Sandlock)

so out of all the people running a 17x9 wheel on here no one is is higher than ET15? and yes they are 5x114.3 and has an offset of 53 on the 17x9....so i thought a 33mm would be fine and me a final offset of 20.

A lot of it has to do with what kind of coils you have but I would try for an et of between 20-25.... tires, roll and ride height will be the biggest factors obviously. I run ultra lows and can run a 17x8" et35 which would equate to a 9" et22... if I had access to my car I could tell you how much room there is between the coil and the wheel which would be very helpful because the higher the et, the better you'll be. Maybe someone could help here...

I think Ksports allow for more room but I'm not positive.... order the adapters from adaptec, Matt will have good insight on this as well. I bet you could run et25 without problem though
