Yep. As mentioned above Thule fits using the same fitkit that the MkV used for 2 and 4 door. For this car I put some clear bra urethane down were the rubber feet sit and it works great. No bunching or tearing and hopefully, no scratches or marks in the paint! I install/reinstall the rack pretty often and the risk of having grime under the feet is high. A detail shop should be willing to give you some scrap for free.

agreed ive got my oem bars from my jetta, havent put them on the golf yet, but definitely a great look

im looking to get a roof rack for my bike for the upcoming season. im debating between a Thule system and the OEM roof rack and carrier bars. It looks like the OEM system actually costs less than the Thule (around $475). Which is the better deal? What would something like a few pictures up cost?

i went for the OEM because it was way cheaper and works just as good and imo looks better then the thule bars. i dont like how thules has skinny black bars that over hang the car. oem just looks cleaner IMO.
