Re: 1992 Corrado Wolfsburg Edition (5thape)

hehe, here we go again. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
This is no fault of your own but some people here in the Corrado forum are going to lash out and post links to the search so before that happens I will attempt to answer your question. The added features of the "Wolfsburg Edition" Corrado are wonderful ammenties such as an added badge that can be purchased at your local dealer. Sorry, but all Corrado's were built by Karmann in Osnabruck (sp?) hence no Wolfsburg Edition.

No wolfsburg editions were ever made, some dealers put on badges to increase sales

Re: 1992 Corrado Wolfsburg Edition (5thape)

Hey dude, sounds like a car to definately look into. Unfortunately there is no such thing as a Wolfsburg Corrado. All corrados were built at Karmann Coachworks. The only thing the Wolfsburg corrado had was the badge, which the dealers added as a promo item to try and sell more of them. Your not getting jipped by thinking that its a wolfsburg, unless you expected something more than a normal corrado, just misinformed. Id still check it out, the badge is just a badge, the car could still be a nice car. Karmann and Wolfsburg are both factories, so having all 100% of corrados built at Karmann makes a wolsfburg "option" or anything like that simply impossable.
edit: if your new to Cs, and thinking about getting one, read ALL the sticky things at the top of the Corrado forum... they will help you immensely so that you dont get a lemon, or get one and then get lost in not knowing how to handle any situations or problems it may throw at you.
