Update:
I did get my hood and roof after 2 months of waiting. They arrived in good condition but I think Performance-trim.com needs some quality control because there were only 2 holes drilled for my hood latch when it requires 3. thats pretty messed up. also, the edges of the hood(rear edge mostly) looks like ****. It looks like they just cut the carbon fiber after molding it and then just put a bead of silicone calking along the hard edge to finish it off. and they didnt even do a good job at it. There are places where there isnt even any silicone and you can see right to whats behind it. Also, like many carbon fiber hoods I've seen, the corner edges above the headlights dont fit flush with the fenders. after adjusting the hood latch, hinges, and bump stops, the driver side is almost flush and the passenger side sits about 1/4" too high. The only other thing I can think of is extendig the slots for the hood latch bolts down so the hood latch can go even farther down. The car is at the body shop now though so we'll see if they can do a better job adjusting the hood than I could. The roof on the other hand looks great. but there's not much to it, its just (I'm guessing) a couple layers of resin infused dry carbon fiber, period. no frame or anything. One last thing, they promised to send me the adhesive to attach the carbon fiber roof but none was included in my package. so my main complaint is quality control. like someone else said, I wouldnt mind waiting 2 months if they had just initially told me thats how long it would take. but when someone says 3 weeks and it takes more than twice what they said. it tends to piss you off. especially when you're waiting on those parts in order to be able to do other things. I'll post another update when I get the car back from the body shop.
