Supposedly they are very high quality from other threads I've read. I wouldn't have minded it taking 9 weeks either if they had TOLD me it was going to take 9 weeks. However, since they told me 3-4 weeks total, that's what I expected.
Well, Just keep me posted. I hope things turn out good for you. Was the shipping resonable? Did you order any big pieces?

also interested. id wait 10 weeks for some of the stuff on there. have they returned any of your calls yet?

They made me a deal on shipping because I ordered so much stuff. And yea, I ordered some pretty big stuff.

According to the tracking number, it should arrive Monday! Having it delivered directly to the body shop, so I will go by Tuesday and check out everything in person.

Like I said, I wouldn't have minded waiting this long if they TOLD me it was going to take this long.

Ok.. whats the story? Did it show up? What was the quality? What parts did you buy? Thanks

So you can tell your girl
" But baby.. Its lighter and more stronger than steel, "
"I know rust is lighter but...."

Sorry, forgot to update.

I received everything a few days ago. The quality is excellent, but there was damage to the roof as they didn't pack everything well enough. Body guy says it won't be too big of a deal though and that he can work with it. He did send them an e-mail to let them know they need to work on their packing, to which they haven't replied.

I purchased a roof, front and rear small bumpers, and wheel arch spats. (All carbon fiber)

Carbon hatch

I was interested in a new rear hatch. The hatch on my 82 rabbit is very rusted around the window area. I could fix it but i do't know if i have the fab skills to pull it off well. I was thinking about ordering a carbon or fiberglass hatch. Anyone have a good rust free one for less?

I am in a very similar situation as you. I ordered a full carbon hood and roof for my MKV R32 on June 10. they told me 2 to 3 weeks for manufacture and one week for shipment. it has now almost been 7 weeks. I have other things waiting on these parts to come so I have gotten very frusterated. Also, any time I email them it takes about a week for them to respond. they apparently have horrible customer service which is a real pain when you live across the Atlantic ocean. If they just told me in the beginning that it would take 7 weeks I would have been fine with that also. They got back to me today and said the parts are finished and waiting to be shipped this week. what are you waiting on? ship them already. it takes 5 minutes to pack a box up. I hope it doesnt take too long for the parts to get here. the roof I ordered wasnt even on their website yet. I asked about it and they said they had made one for another mkv golf. I hope the parts dont get messed up in shipping. wish me luck. I should have read this thread 7 weeks ago.

Post in the classifieds, no one with a hatch for sale will find you in here.

Update:
I did get my hood and roof after 2 months of waiting. They arrived in good condition but I think Performance-trim.com needs some quality control because there were only 2 holes drilled for my hood latch when it requires 3. thats pretty messed up. also, the edges of the hood(rear edge mostly) looks like ****. It looks like they just cut the carbon fiber after molding it and then just put a bead of silicone calking along the hard edge to finish it off. and they didnt even do a good job at it. There are places where there isnt even any silicone and you can see right to whats behind it. Also, like many carbon fiber hoods I've seen, the corner edges above the headlights dont fit flush with the fenders. after adjusting the hood latch, hinges, and bump stops, the driver side is almost flush and the passenger side sits about 1/4" too high. The only other thing I can think of is extendig the slots for the hood latch bolts down so the hood latch can go even farther down. The car is at the body shop now though so we'll see if they can do a better job adjusting the hood than I could. The roof on the other hand looks great. but there's not much to it, its just (I'm guessing) a couple layers of resin infused dry carbon fiber, period. no frame or anything. One last thing, they promised to send me the adhesive to attach the carbon fiber roof but none was included in my package. so my main complaint is quality control. like someone else said, I wouldnt mind waiting 2 months if they had just initially told me thats how long it would take. but when someone says 3 weeks and it takes more than twice what they said. it tends to piss you off. especially when you're waiting on those parts in order to be able to do other things. I'll post another update when I get the car back from the body shop.
