the only time the limit seems to change is if i change all 3 of the limiters, located @ 1649a, 1649c, and 164a2.
i cant get the ecu to work with 2 different limiters. its either the higher limiter or the lower limiter. if i want to use the lower limiter i have to set all 3 values the same. its all or nothing.
for example, i was trying to set nmax to 2500 (10000 decimal) and nmaxog to 7000 (28000). but the ecu will only rev to 2500 if i set all 3 limiters the same.
my friend is trying to do this on a 512kb beetle and he says only the first limiter has an effect in his tune. so his is either all or nothing as well.
i wont be defeated that easily though. there has to be a way.
