Me? I always seem to make pretty extreme changes when going from one vehicle to another. No harm no foul there! On the other hand, coming to a VW site and throwing off on a vehicle that you previously owned and that others really enjoy is in very poor form. ;) Just because you've had a change in direction doesn't mean it is the "right" change in direction.
As to this site? Being quite new on vortex, it isn't as endearing as other sites are initially, but people generally seem to be of good heart. I've enjoyed my time here...

Although I didn't say it nicely (I appologize) but what your saying zOOmie is what I mean.

And as for SUVs, they do roll over far to easy for my taste and in my OPINION, they are unsafe.

I had a Suburban rental when I was in Houston a couple months ago. I honestly loved it. I live in Boston where a car that big just wouldn't work for me, but having the ability to comfortably drive around 7 grown men and it not be a mini-van was pretty dope.

I would definitely get one if my circumstances ever called for it. That being said, they are completely different beasts, the R32 and large SUV's. They don't even attempt to sever the same purpose.

When I drive around 7 grown men, we just take 2 cars

Physics....high center of gravity, tall tires sidewalls, anything you have to avoid in the road and roll roll roll your boat. Want me to show you pics of my brothers all rolled up in a ball?

I have a 2007 LTXZ up north to tow a racecar trailer, it's no R32, but a damn fine utility vehicle and tows with no problems....in other words it serves it's intended use.
6.0 gets 14-15 around town, 19 highway, (AWD)....for 6000 lbs, not bad.

If I could only have 1 vehicle for anything I might need to do, that's the 1. Thank God i am not limited to just 1 vehicle!:D

Edited for poor typing, just had eye surgery, hard to see tiny little keys...........:banghead:

I loved my R32 for about a month... it rattled the whole time I owned it... Only sat two people. I enjoyed the speed and handling... but its time to play a little harder.

Thanks for the support you all gave me during the two years of ownership.
My .:R32 seats 4 adults quite comfortably, done it several times for work. Did you manage to find that ultra rare .:R32Coupe version or something? :sly::screwy:

Having a 6.2L V8 that is just as fast as a R32 from a roll is worth it. I can pull 10,000lbs and seat seven in style and comfort. So yes, I did Coug it.
Just as fast... Riiiight. Nice try man, not even close. As for seating 7? I can seat 6 in my wife's SUV; its half the size of your monstrosity and still gets 23-25 mpg... go Chrysler

It is obvious you are happy with your choice, so congrats. But please don't go posting foolishness and lies to try and make yourself feel better about giving up a 1 of a kind beauty like an .:R for a dime-a-dozen, road hogging, living-room-on-wheels Escalade...
