I might be interested. I'm looking for some winter wheels for my GTI. I was looking at some Denver's, since they are just the same smaller wheel as the Detroits. I will have to see how the Portos look on a 2010 GTI. We could meet half way down I-5. I won't low ball at all.
Definitely a possibility. Meeting halfway would be far preferable than having to ship. No hurry, they won't be off the car for a few weeks yet. After you check into the looks, let me know if you're still interested.
If I do sell them it would be solely to turn right around and buy a set of steelies or similar for winter wheels, so selling them off one at a time might be inconvenient. Considering the time frame, I'd much rather sell them as a set.
Have definitely decided to sell. Will order new wheels in October, unless I get a pretty solid commitment from someone before that. I'm not asking for money just yet, but would like to have someone tell me, "yes, I want them, and I will have the cash ready as soon as they are available."
