I also have a lower cubby and a secondary "glove" box below the dash one.
Im told its from a cabriolet, I installed the dash harness i have in the car and it still had some of the switches installed which match the dash switches. The gauge cluster plug however is about a 1/4 inch to narrow to fit the cluster. I did a search to find some info on dash swaps and all i found was that a cabriolet dash is a pain in the ass to do, and getting the heater to work and use the right outlets is complicated to say the least.

Well that was easy....:banghead: Thank you. I was looking at the photos i could find online and i saw a couple of this dash and it said it was a scirocco dash also but then looking at other scirocco dashes I could see it didnt look like them. So Im doing a 16v swap right now, and it looks like the dash harness i just put in is for the cabby dash.Will this harness plug in to the turn signal stalk and wipers? Everytime i turn around it seems like the wiring that came with this car is different than what im told.
