Starting my VR swap on the ol Jetta, not one of my parts got here yet but I am too excited to wait so I started taking the 2.0 out been a whole 2 hours and all I have left to take out is the axles but I need to wait for a longer triple square, I could do it with the one I have but its just a pain in the ars. I am starting to get nervous about knowing where everything goes when I put it in I have been takin phone pix and labeling everything so I should be alright I think. Someone who has done this before let me know if it will all come back together and I will be alright... ok, lol thats all I got

It's not very hard at all mechanically, its when you get to the wiring that you may freak out. There are some good DIYs out there to help you along if you need it.

I have been slowly getting the rest of the car taken apart. Have the dash out, all wiring unhooked all, mounts undone, axles out etc. Have a couple questions I sort of looked but I dont want to go the wrong way with it. To get to the shift box, do I have to go from underneath behind that heat shield or from under the carpet, or both? Also, do I have to take the fuse box that is already in there out or can I use that with all the wiring going to it? I have the other fusebox and everything but havent really looked at them very closely to see. Let me know, thank you
