need help with my fogs

ohh my fault i must not have gottin the memo that said i have to do what everyone else does and wasnt aloud to be diferent. sorry im tryin to make my car stick out unlike you mother****ers that probaly either have blue yellow or no fogs at all just like evreyother car. so glad im not one of you bitches who just get on here and complain about the "n00bs" which im not sayin im notconsidering i just bought my car.

From one noob to another, you may want to check whether your headlights support fogs in the first place. I think some American models do not natively have fogs which is why the compatibility checker does not work. If you do not already have foglights, tou may need to buy new headlights, a Euroswitch, and fog light wiring. On my GTI, the headlights have a chrome dome where the fog light lens is supposed to be so if I want fogs, I need whole new headlights that support them.

yes i actually just put my new headlights in yesterday so i know exactly what your talking about. and i also already have a euro switch so i know i just need the wiring and the actual bulb

lol, take a chill pill. nobody is telling you to do what everyone else does. we are just telling you what NOT to do. i mean, its your car do what you want, but dont come into the mk4 forums expecting to not get flamed for ish like that. by the way, you should do research before you run your mouth.

my custom headlights, that i retrofitted myself into a set of stock headlights. not a single other set in the world like it. a perfect example of being different.

gli and glx models have foglights in the housing. gls and gl models do not.

ive done as much research as i could and just need some help with it. that would be the reason for the title being need help with my fogs.

I was associating doing research with your previous statement, meaning you shouldnt call us mofos and btches with no taste if we can back it up with a tastefully modded car.

ok. one i never said anyone had no taste i said that almost everyone has either blue or yellow fogs. and two what you just said had nothing to do with me doing research and needing help.

And just incase you are too stupid to search, I'll do my good deed for the day. Yes, those bulbs will fit. However, they are HID bulbs, not halogens, so you need a ballast and ignitor to run them. Unfortunately they illegal for actually road use (don't know where you live, but I'm going out on a limb) and are ugly as sin.

Good luck and stop making dumb threads without searching.
