Either one or more of your injectors are toast and need replacing, or something is seriously wrong with your cold start system (injector, thermo switch, etc.) and it/they are dumping fuel. I didn't notice where you live in your information, but if you live in a cold zone I'd bet on the cold start system being fouled up.it's an '87 1.8 8v. RD block CIS-E fuel injection....

X2 on that most likely if the rings. when in gear does the car feel like it doesnt want to move some times.do a compression test, rings could be toast. O2 sensor goes out, it will dump more fuel in there too.
Unplugging it won't do any good. It wouldn't be an electrical issue with the valve. It would be the tiny little valve inside letting fuel past.Just unplug the cold start valve. Or remove it from engine to make sure it's not leaking.
Could be a weak fuel pump or bad FPR. The cis-e fuel pressure gauge helps with this.
