i ran 205 40's on my 16x9's
and now i am running
195 40 17 on a 8.5
205 40 17 on a 9.....
do work! lol

i hope they are ok, im going to be running the same size soon(wheels/tires on the way) and i daily my car about 35 miles a day.

i use 195 40 16 on a 9 on my daily. its great. dont even worry....
For matched stretch a 215.
a 205 on a 9 is fine.I daily drove my car with that setup for awhile on a couple different sets of wheels without a single problem.
You are braver than I haha. 205 on a 9 is a healthy stretch, that extra 1/4" each way would worry me haha
