Hi all, I have a limited choice on what color I can get and am kind of stuck and thought maybe seeing what you guys think might help me out.

The funny thing is that I thought I was close between either Platinum Gray or Reflex Silver but when I went to see the cars in person yesterday I think for once I actually preferred a beige interior over black, and of course you can't get that in the gray or silver :p

So these are the choices:

Exterior Color: Candy White
· Interior color options: Titan Black V-Tex Leatherette, Cornsilk Beige V-Tex Leatherette

Exterior Color: Platinum Gray Metallic
· Interior color options: Titan Black V-Tex Leatherette

Exterior Color: Reflex Silver Metallic
· Interior color options: Titan Black V-Tex Leatherette

Exterior Color: White Gold Metallic
· Interior color options: Titan Black V-Tex Leatherette, Cornsilk Beige V-Tex Leatherette

What would you get if stuck with only these options on a new SEL?

Black on Beige has always been one of my favorite color combinations. The chrome accents and fogs on the SEL cars spice up the look of black paint against the black grille nicely too. Had you said S or SE, I wouldn't have said black because of the chrome delete.

My #2 would be White on Beige. My #3 would be White Gold on Beige.

At the NYC intro, Volkswagen WAS showing Platinum Grey on Beige, but I guess that maybe they save $0.02 per car by cutting the option.

I knew black would come up :D You guys must love detailing ;)

I do like the 'face' details of the car and the lighter colors do set that off more, but having had lots of white cars I was weighing changing it up on this with the dark gray or silver. White does pop though. When I saw the white gold it seemed much more beigey grayish then I thought it would, but perhaps that was because it was overcast.

mediumbluemetalic - funny about those media gray on beige cars, must be euro spec or something they don't think we'll want here. Looks pretty good, only thing I'm not sure about is all that bright parcel shelf area standing out in the rear window, I'm not used to it I guess having mostly had dark interiors. Too bad they didn't treat it like the dash/doors and make it black - perhaps some tint would remedy that ;) Thanks for the photo though, I hadn't seen that one and the gray looked much darker when i saw it yesterday, sunlight seems to really lighten it up some

Reflex silver is really easy to take care of, has to get really dirty before you see it.....but I don't like it so much on this jetta for some reason....looks kind of boring.

I'd go platinum grey maybe. White looks good if you lower it....if you don't white looks girly.

With our choices, I would go White over Beige. I have seen red over beige, and it reads well too. I will likely be going for Tempest Blue Metallic over Beige for my JSW. The few chrome accents really pop, and the Beige works quite well with it.

I like reflex silver and platinum gray on Jettas. White is nice too.

I like black but not the upkeep of black.

I hate tan interiors  I find that they look dirty after awhile. The blue dye from my jeans has rubbed off slightly on the sides of my gray v-tex, but it's hardly noticeable. I think it'd be more obvious with tan. But if you like tan and don't mind cleaning it, then go for it! White + tan looks best imo.
