whats up guys names rob im new to the forum just signed up comin in here with an open mind, i just bought a 97 a4 quattro 1.8t all stock car neeeds a clutch i got it for $2000, car was worth it right? im going to install the clutch myself i just ordered an xtd stage 3 ceramic clutch came with disk and press. plate, i also ordered the press plate bolts from audi... im planning on doing alot of mods to this car, im buying a gt28rs turbo and manifold off my friend what else should i do for starters? thanks ( btw i will be driving this car most of the week, my trucks killing me on gas lol)

yea coil overs will be my next purchase, but whats a good set because ive felt some types where it makes the car ride like **** i dont wanna feel like im riding on goddam brick roads i still want it to be smooth;)
 
ST's provide a good ride while still going low. h&rs are also on the list. if youre not planning on going real low with the coilovers you could check out koni's, theyre a good ride application, but wont put you to the ground

have fun with that clutch job, it will be a bastard of a job

thanks guys appreciate the tips i love the car already and i havent even driven it yet, i got a nice set of truck 6ton jackstands today so ill put it up tomorow and start the teardown tues night after work. hopefully be breakin this clutch in by the weekend :) ill keep yous posted when i get it done if you dont hear from me, assume i got frustrated and lowered the car on myself lol later!

well, after giving this some thought ive decided **** just pulling the trans go big ot go home, im pulling the motor instead then i will do the clutch also motor is being done .040 over with je pistons and eagle rods :) yesssss
