I got everything unbolted from the block, but the trannny seems to be stuck on the flywheel still. Is there any special procedure that has to be taken when takeing out the transmission?

Thanks
Mario

You might have to take off the half shaft disk connected to your tranny-it has a c clip holding it on. Otherwise just move it side to side and twist it alot. Also if you do take off the disk watch out for tranny fluid spilling out. Hope this helps.... Also I have a question for you... does your airbox have two vacuum lines connected to the back? Stupid question but it'd help me out alot. Thanks

I did this a couple months ago. Like it's already been said. Undo the front mounts. Put the engine up. Get underneath, and twist the tranny. It'll come off. Took me like 45 minutes. Man was I sore after. Granted, it was also my first time doing this sort of stuff. Have fun!

there are a few assorted sheetmetal shields that can really bind things up in the rear of the bellhousing- all like 10-11mm bolts, but enough to really seem like the trans won't come out if you yank it with them still in there.
