More than likely we will probably stop in Mid Cali. We don't have to get there in one day like we did going to Oktoberfest. The trip down is more about meeting up with people and getting good rolling video shots of cars.

That being said, I will probably cruise with you guys down to sac, but I'll be sleeping there and cruising the rest of the way with Sacwater
We will be doing the same. We may leave a couple days earlier to check out San Fran, then meet up with SacWater. We'll see if our mini Cali trip happens before or after Vegas. It's still 4 months away.

I'm super excited. I've been looking forward to this since last year!

Do you guys plan on taking I-5 the whole way down?

I say take I5 down to Sac then take 99 to Bakersfield, then 99 run right into I5. I think 99 would be better since it has more towns going down and it would be better if something were to happen. Everytime I drive to socal I take 99 once I get into sac.

Just my opinion.

I no longer have a V-dub but would love to join if you guys are cool w/ that. I'd be joining when you guys roll through P.town.

The only word I needed to see was 'Vegas'. :D
We'll be stopping in Portland for a little bit, We'll post up out stopping locations closer to the event.

Ya, my body Nate and some other people from the Lakewood area, I'm just trying to figuring out what route we going to take...
You should drive with us (WaterWerks). I'll be posting up the route in the next month.

I used to live in vegas and have done that drive many times.....straight thru by way of I-5 is insanity....you have to stop somewhere!
if you take 90 across to 82/84, and down either the 93 or the 15 thru UT, its 15-16 hrs straight, which is easy with a couple energy drinks!
I will be there for sure on this one, already got the time off and reserving the hotel room tonight.
I agree that 90 to 84 down to 93 is the best bet... I-5 is going to have traffic and in a large group it would take forever. Ive taken both routes to Nevada several times and going 84 never is there traffic and its pretty straight through. :]:thumbup:

Cool sounds good, I'll get back to you about it, just hopping the Gti will be done. and you still have to do the wheels :p
I'm sure I'll have it all done by then. Just get them to me sooner than later.
