some may know others may not. I'm in the middle of swapping in an OBDI VR into my OBDII 2.0 Jetta. I was under the impression that to make it "easier" I would just swap out the entire fuse box and the entire harness, I have a complete parts/donor car. So my question is what is the best way to remove everything without cutting anything? Or do I even need to take out the fuse boxes? :beer:

Would have been easier with a OBD2 swap, but it can be done. I'm not too sure on just swapping the fuse box. They should be pretty close to the same. I've heard about guys swapping in the fusebox from a mk3 into a mk2, for the swap, but that's pretty much something you need to do while doing that swap.
