So and im having quite a few problems with my mk4 Wolfsburg and i'm pretty new to turbo'd cars and Volkswagens in general. and i'm beginning to run out of ideas with this car:banghead:
I have a 2001 Jetta Wolfsburg with 67k. When i drive my car if i stay under 4500 rpms i can drive it fine, but once i get up in that range thats (4500+) is when problems start occuring. It feels like the engine gets cut off from its air supply and suffocates and then turns off. For a little bit i can try and rev it back up but the throttle response is delayed roughly 5 seconds. Once it dies if i try to start it up again, it just turns over and never actually runs.
Now for problem #2, i cant read any codes that my car is throwing up because VAG-com wont connect. Ive posted in the VAG-com forum and no one seems to respond or know the problem. My ABS, EPC, Traction control, and Check engine lights are all on. I would post a log of my data, but like i said i cannot connect. instead i get a 'K2: K+12 to ground' error. Its beginning to get very frustration not being able to drive my MK4 anymore:banghead:
Like i said i'm new and I know its a bit hard to follow but i could use the help, ill clarify any questions that may come up:thumbup:
