New Lifters?

Well i am rebuilding a 2.0 head. I was wondering if new lifters would be needed when i rebuild my head. I heard that new lifters should be installed with new cams. I am putting i Schrick 268's, so i didn't know if i'd need these. Anyone with info, past experience or such, please help me out!

are all Lifters of the same quality? and where's the cheapest/best place to buy?....

i think tt was selling some...or maybe those were springs...i dont remeber

I found the ones i am going to buy for 7 dlooars a piece at taylorautomotive
retainers are for valve springs dude

No, lifters are not the same in quality, there are Brazilian lifters, and German. I only stock the German ones.

Yes, there are Brazilian lifters, and German. I only stock the German ones. [HR][/HR]​

how much are lifters, the German ones?
how much are valve springs (scricks?)?

really? my local shop only charged me like 4$ per lifter.

Are febi/bilstein german lifters? Thats what i have.......... No tick BTW

I saw them on ebay for 132.50.. for a set of 16. i then went to my favorite local parts place (german parts) and i told them i could get them for 7.50 @piece.. They gave them to me for 120.00, all 16. All german. Febi. A whirl of difference. Like a new motor.
