I find the best driving songs are the ones you enjoy the most. There really isnt a driving playlist i have, its just the stuff i really like at the moment.

This is what im driving to now simply because its what im into right now.

as for a genre, Classic rock is always great for a nice drive on a warm summer night.

^ I like that.... :)

The main reason for this thread is so I can buy some new stuff and my wife will stop bugging me for playing the same crap...
download in silico and immersion, theyre sickkkk.

highway cruising

chilling with the windows down

night driving

city driving

Seems like we get at least one of these threads per year. It will soon fill up with posts about obscure "music" that nobody has ever heard of. "Look at me!! I'm different!" Just sayin'. ;)

Regardless... I listen to my exhaust. Or, if the windows are up, it's Kids Place Live on Sirius. Even when the kids aren't in the car. It's good, makes-you-happy music.

Mostly 80s punk-new wave. My driving mix starts with "Eighties" by Killing Joke and wraps with "Hungry Wolf" by X. In between are some Split Enz, The Stand, The Cure, Fixx, The Cars, even some Flock Of Seagulls. I'd say most people would be covered by "The same stuff I listened to as a teen."
