Japanese Rabbit Valance

Has anyone tried putting this on the GTI? It looks IDENTICAL to the ones sold at OEM+ and tmtuning (as a Japanese TDI valance), but I'm just sketched out about ordering it because ECS has it under rabbit exterior as an "Asia Golf 5" valance.

Give me good news kthxbi.

it will fit.

-might have to trim the inner fender liner if you have a gti
-and mod the exhaust(turn down)

I have this lower! besides the turndown no other mods on my rabbit.

I heard that on the GTI it doesn't stick out as far as the stock bumper...

I want this rear, if shipping wasn't double the cost of the part I would pick it up.

I'm having mine smoothed, plastic welded, and painted currently. It should be the same one as the other stores, you just don't have to wait months for it to come in.

Well, he said he was running a "Japanese TDI valance". My problem is ECS isn't calling it that, and put it in the rabbit section instead of the GTI section like most other websites. I figured I'd order it from ECS because tmtuning charges more than the price of the part itself to ship, and it takes well over a month to ship as well.

I'll just order it and see what happens.

If you are looking for a textured lower without exhaust cutout, then this is the correct piece and would be the same part from the other vendors just titled differently:

It will fit the GTI as well as the Rabbit, but obviously will not work with an exhaust that has tips sticking out, only turn down systems, custom, etc...

Wish I ordered mine from ECS but they didn't sell them when I ordered mine, waited 3 months from OEM+, and shipping was $150 :banghead:
