I don't hate bags. I hate the fact he wants to cut up an original one owner W108 to install them....
So drilling a couple holes in the trunk is "cutting it up" to you? Gimme a break, I can be returned to stock easily.

As for the fake tits analogy, it's not nearly the same thing. Fake ones don't make a woman more versatile. Spring suspension has no advantage over air in this case.

spent a lot of time with really low bagged cars?... it takes more than "a couple holes in the trunk" to get something to lay out like the bagged cars that have been posted in this thread...

Actually, with these old w115/108 cars, it can be that easy. The green one on the last page is my old car.. just sold it last week. Here's the entire build thread.

The most extreme modifying I had to do to was to remove the rear bump stops and install two remote shocks. Not difficult at all. Pretty minor IMO.
The front end was even easier, just had to put the bags in.
