Cheap Chinese crap.
Do they get the job done? Yes.
Are they a good product? No.
They function but that doesn't make them 'good' it merely makes them functional.
Just because a car comes with a warranty would you buy a car that you know will grenade it's motor within said warranty simply because you can get it replaced for free?
What's your time worth?

I'd say it's worth an extra small chunk of change for the JOM's at the very least, if not the ST's for a bit more. Do it once, do it right.

Proposed rule changes for 2012 put Scirocco in a new class: GSP.

- Create a new class named G Street Prepared
- Move from FSP to GSP all cars currently classed in FSP

Also, ST will have cars removed:

ST – All currently eligible ST cars with the exception of the following:
Honda Civic (86-2000)
Acura Integra (90-2001)
Sentra SE-R (91-94)
Nissan NX2000 (91-94)
Toyota Celica (94-2005)
Dodge/Chrysler Neon
Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS (98-2001)
Nissan 240SX

Since my competition will be moved to STS next year, I will run the new class GSP and get some race rubber...

Now days the Scirocco is not classed as well as it once was. The cars are becoming rare so the rule books are shifting to favor more powerful cars. Still the Scirocco is very fun on the track and on a good day can still win. That is if you have a race car.... And you know we all think we do? :D
Thank You Doug-T,well put,well put.

ST (Street Touring) 140 treadwear tires or higher.

The Scirocco will now have a better chance to win in ST with the Civic and Integra removed. I hope I can find a MK1 now.

I don't see how an MK1 with a 1.5 - 1.7 US spec will ever be competitive in ST. I would like to see it however.

scca,or nasa?

In all honesty.....if you do the research on the budget coils.....Raceland, Rokkor, JOM, V-Maxx, AP Sportfahrwerk, etc... are all the same thing in different clothing so to speak.
Incorrect. Raceland and Rokkor are made in China, different plant and different build quality.

JOM and V-Maxx are made in Germany.

So same parts but built in different countries?

Im thinking of getting racelands just simply for price, As long as there not terribly unconfortable and handle fine, im happy. id rather do that then just replace my struts

Ususally with different plants/manufacturers comes different components. They are similar but the general consensus and in my experience JOM/V-Maxx are a bit better quality.
