Congrats on the buy my friend!

I have the same colour :laugh: combo on my 2006 Passat 2.0T, I think it really looks nice overall..

I must add, I used to have a B5 Passat and I just have this feeling that the interior was more solid than the B6 interior..oh well. Congrats on your car again!

Crap, I used to have a list of GLX only features.

I think that memory seat is GLX only. The steelies are weird though.

My wife and I bought this 2002 Passat last spring with the intention of it being our second car that doesn't get much use, since she takes the train every day. ...over 20k miles later in a little over a year and I have nothing but good things to say about it.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone :) I'm really excited overall about this car and can't wait to start doing OEM+ mods to it. With that said, what is the satnav unit (if any) that came with the b5.5 passat? I would like to have my steering wheel controls back but with built in bluetooth on the radio !

Definitely not OEM, and the screen graphics are a little silly but it definitely has an OEM look to the face. I'd go for it, if you can't find an OEM one (don't think a B6 or Mk5 unit would fit, they have non-standard faces).

Well, the MFD1 looks a little dated, so im not sure im gonna jump into that unfortunately :( Any retrofits done for later years done on this forum? And whats the most oem looking satnav unit right now?

You can get VW OEM center caps that snap into most BBS wheels

Obviosuly you could go with a bigger wheel size (those are 16s) and a different style, but the caps are just from a vw dealer.

You can also make W8 HIDs work (With all the self-leveing stuff if you're a real weinee)
