I am thinking about buying these led taillights for my grey Rado, but its very hard to find pictures of any corrado with them installed... Does anyone recall seeing these on a Rado and maybe have any pictures of it?

I am too, I want to build a set for mine or mod some existing ones. I want to do LEDs in each section so I can display animated arrows and such, I also wanted a vw logo in each outer as parking lights.

Offhand the light assy doesn't look bad, its more seeing how the LEDs light on the car, I think it would make it look more modern for sure.

Yes i am also curious how they look, they cant be that "hated" on the scene? :p

I live in Norway where its dark and snows a lot, so its safer to have good lights so people can see you braking and stuff... ;) Plus i think they will be awesome along with blacked out inpro headlights with angel eyes removed

What's the best price you found for these?

I used these taillights on my car. I have the fog lights on as running lights and out board brake lights come on with brakes. There are just wwwaaayyyy too many new drivers on cell phones and texting where I live. I've got 4 or 5 schools with in 3 miles of my house. It's mostly the teen girls and mom's that watch the phones instead of where they're going. Most of the high school guys simply crash from driving too fast.

The last soccer mom that ran me into a raised concrete divider was so engrossed looking at pics on her new phone she swerved into me two times. She finally pulled over when I walked up to her window at the red light intersection. I had to explain to her she ran me off the road. When she pulled over to see what she did to my "17 Chrome OZ Volcano rims she began to tell me all the features of her new phone and took pictures of the damage for insurance purposes. She then forwarded them on to her insurance (She thought this would help her???). They paid out on a claim for two new rims and suspension work immediately.

My car is black with tinted windows. On asphalt roads with a dirty car the corrado will literally cloak into the road since there's no reflection. The led brake lights literally flash . The normal bulbs glow. I've sacrificed the cool look of the oe tail lights for safety's sake.

Personally i think the led tails look just as cool as red tinted OE tails, but the purpose of this thread was to actually see led tails on a car. Yours look great!

But for me living in Norway with snowstorms and whatsoever 1/2 of the year, i think i need to have led tails for both safety and looks... :snowcool:

got any more pics with the lights??

Smoked / Red are NLA :banghead:. From FK / InPro, etc are all made by the same company. Christian at EPP sourced a pair of the smoked LED ones for me and I'll just have to wait and see how they look on the car when I get it back from the shop. The girl that rear ended my car last month has made the word of the month NLA!!!

This is what I ordered. I'm just wont know how they look until they're on the car. Worst case scenario is that I'll have to smoke em. These are TUV approved. The round reflector is moot. It's useless during the day and at night these are lights you don't want to drive behind.

Any pics of these on a Corrado would be welcome.

Noper, plug n play. LED rear fogs built in. True cornea burning lights for heavy fog or tailgaters.

Normally I shouldn't reply to this but what the heck.....

Those clear ones above look like SH!T :sly:  :screwy:

I seriously doubt that FK or InPros are NLA, since there are some many retailers out there, surely someone should have a few sets in stock.

You can get them from JOM also:
http://www.jom.de/products/gb/Special-Offers/Rear-light-set-VW-Corrado-88--crystal-black.html

Any I don't believe the FKs are the same as the InPros since I've had them both and they look different.

As for pics....SEARCH...i've seen them in tons of Corrados worldwide (they look awful)

The inpros and the FK's are different. The link you posted Nick is for non-LED ones. again the top black LED ones look pretty decent in my opinion.. I was thinking of buying a set just because they look so cool.. but I like mine better...

Bad pic, but you get the Idea...

Even Dirty as hell, they look goooood!!!

The infamous Corrado support vehicle, flatbed tow truck. :( Every retailer that has the LED Corrado lights pictured on their site doesn't have them. I've sourced one who has NOS and will have them physically inspect them before I order. I've already ordered a few sets from places that picture them on their site. They call back and offer something else. It just ends up being another refund.

The LED boards in my damaged tail lights still work. I'll find a way to put them in some smoked OE Corrado lights eventually.

Christian @ EPP is the source of the info on NLA LED Corrado tail lights. He scoped all the suppliers in EU and discovered "there is no date set to begin manufacture of the (LED) lights again. All the Corrado LED lights are manufactured by the same company (sublet) to be sold under different names (FK, InPro, etc)".

Nobody said InPro and FK are the same. Christan verified the assemblies are manufactured by one company for each retailers specifications. Probably in China. The clear lights you're bitch'n about are the same tint as the top portion of the red / smoked lights. I wont know how dark they are until they're on the car. I've seen that FK does have their LED's manufactured darker than InPro. I'm not a fan of the jeweled look in light housings. My bag is a smoked opaque lens that lets the colored LED's pop through.
