presented by CIP1.com

*** New Location ***
Langley Events Centre, 7888 - 200th Street Langley, BC

The Great Canadian Volkswagen Show will welcome approximately 5000 car enthusiasts and their families to the Langley Events Centre. Air cooled and water cooled, new and old will be on display and ready for judging throughout the park. Families can enjoy taking part in a variety of activities and vendors will be showcasing what’s hot on the market.

Western Canada's largest VW event attracts some of the finest Stock and Custom VWs from around the Pacific Northwest, including many past and present Hot VWs Magazine feature cars (18+ cars shot at past GCVW shows). Over 60 awards in 23 Classes. All types of VWs in any condition welcome. Pre-registration @ www.gcvws.com - OPEN NOW! Dealer Displays, Swap Area, 50/50 Draw, Trivia Contests and more...an entire day of VW fun for the whole family!

Entry to the show is free for spectators. The fee for displaying your VW is $25 CAD (save $5 when you pre-reg and pre-order your show shirt at www.gcvws.com - OPEN NOW!). Registration on Sunday morning takes place from 8am to 11am, space cannot be reserved or guaranteed.

Swap Meet Area spaces are available for every type of VW parts vendor. We offer small private (15' x 15') swap spaces for $40. Swap setup opens at 7am and closes when space is filled (on a first come, first-served basis) and is usually full by 10am. For Dealer Displays and new product vendor areas, please contact the show administrator to pre-register (no day-of-show registration).

sorr I confused it with the ones that were held in Toronto, I remember one year they had 2 or 3 across canada on the same day, all were called the great can bug show, but this was years ago when vw still had a HQ in canada.
They still have a HQ in Canada, it just moved from Scarborough out to Whitby. When they moved, the show continued, it moved up to Stouffville for a few years before dying off.

Too bad. That was always the best show of the year

Too bad. That was always the secondbest show of the year
There, FTFY. Jitterbug's my favorite. And I always think it's the Great Canadain Bug Show when that thread pops up too. cholland, you gonna try out the Berlin Klassik this year? It's on Sept 11.

You West coasters be sure to take lots of pictures, okay?

I just bought a 1984 Scirocco, Havana Brown. She's a beaut! I'm in the process of workin her back up to stock. Mostly just small aesthetic things that come with a 1984 body with 400K km+

eek.... take a look at my recent thread with the same issue.. you may have to pull your pedal cluster out and get the cable retainer thingy welded back in ...
http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5397658-Clutch-cable-Clip-help!!.

Mine was making the same noise for a while before the pedal hit the floor!!!
Had the same thing happen to a friends cabby, we fixed it by putting the cable retainer through a big fender washer to about midpoint and welding it to the washer, now the washer is what keeps the cable from pulling through the firewall.
