well...i had some leftover hardwood laminate flooring from our downstairs room being built, saw a couple jettas that had it so i figured id give it a whirl ... heres the pics guys

disregard the seam lines..they've been fixed :thumbup:

i was acttttually..thinking about running a stealth size sub and somehow incorporating it in the spare tire area somehow

yeah it looks clean
but the sub being placed where it does really throws it off.
how about off to the side where the wheel wells are?

that might not be a bad idea...putting it where it is now was a last minute thing i was thinking bout offsetting it as well

curious to see how you plan on finishing the edges on the box. looks good so far, would look better with a darker wood IMO

i actually started with this color but ran out

and i would get on it if i didnt have to drive an hour to my dads shop to work on it so im waiting ona day i can get over there to work on it with em

its got a subfloor but the weight of the sub was bowing it down into the spare tire hole lol i woulda made it thicker but i wanted to make it easy to remove because i plan on doing a little autocrossing next spring/summer ..the less weight the better :thumbup:
