Hey everybody I'm new to forums in general, if I could get some tips on what to do and not what to do, would be greatly appreciated! Please don't hate me for being a noob!

Just do what you want man. If you need some ideas check out the Cheap Little Mods Thread sticky on top. It has a lot of pretty neat things in there. Also everyone will start flaming you for asking on their opinion in 3...2...1...
And you can't go wrong with low and BBS honestly, but if you're on a budget just look around at other people's VW's and work with what they've done. Personally I would rather see someone that makes their car their own with some slight ridiculousness then another MarkIV on air and RS's. Good luck and if you need any help looking up parts I work in the Parts Dept at a dealer :thumbup:

yeah I know. I bought the car like that. I switched the grille to the OEM one. But the headlights are yellow. So I want to buy different ones once I get the car back.
as noob i welcome u. seems like ur going in the right direction by removing some of the front end stuff. If i could go back i would get a jetta (i have gti). Ive been on here for like 5 years but this is my new user name. im still a newb so we gotta stick together homie. I believe if you want to be accepted as a dubber on vortex you should get some coils and wheels. look in to raceland coilovers which are best for baller on a budget imo. boost hoses, tip, adn turbo back exhaust would be a good start. just try not to put inferior parts on the dub plz. WELCOME TO VW

Thanks! haha the last thing I want to do is make the car look worse than it already does. I was close to buying rokkor coilovers. Which I heard they are about the same? Well the car got immobilizer problems so I had to take it to the dealership. Thank you for the welcome!i hope one day someone posts something like this in one of my threads so i can remove my headlights and grille without replacing them with anything else and then post a picture asking if it looks better.
