I picked up a army flat green mk3 the other day for only $2300. She's not a looker at this point and has several small issues (windshield wiper only has the fast setting, rear hatch lock is loose and i still haven't figured out how to open it, driver's side speaker doesn't work, missing plastic door molding pieces, etc.) BUT, the car has only 45,000 miles on a VR6 out of a jetta and a clean interior, plenty of potential packed into this thing (i'm thinking a matte black paint on gold TT wheels
). Pics coming soon.
Also I would love to get started on the revamp, but i have no room at my apartment, and limited tools.
If anyone knows an MKIII enthusiast in the Seattle area I'm in Capitol Hill and would love to meet up. So if anyone is up for a fun project, hit me up.
