Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. Got my 2003 GL a few weeks ago as my first car :D Just came with a Monsoon system and a Pioneer head unit. Everything else stock.

Just de-badged it today and ordered a black rear emblem and black side markers.

Got a lot planned for the future :)

Already learned a lot from reading through the threads and looking forward to being a part.

but honestly i've seen alot of cars that pull off black emblems/side markers.. it just has to be done with the right color car :thumbup::thumbup:

you should get clear corner markers to match the side.
and keep the stock VW emblem.
if you wanna waste money on cosmetics get a badge-less grille and fill the notch.
maybe invest in a headlight defogging kit.
stubby mirrors would be a nice start too.
