I didnt mean drag strips, what i meant is more of a hypothetical street racing scenario where a "controlled environment" would involve no other cars and no police.What controlled environment dragstrips allow roll starts from 3 honks?

Definitely worth $96k. At $70k Nissan was just making extra profits for their dealers who were still selling the cars for $90k+.
What competes with it? The ZR1 is the ONLY real competitor the car has, and they're so different viscerally that most people have a clear preference.

In addition, i would rather have a 2013 shelby than a GTR. Aka id rather pay 60k for the shelby and save another 40k.. and have a car which is more serious.

The 700hp super snake mustang got smoked by a 09 gtr (vid somewhere on youtube) so I really dont see the new gt500 hanging with a 2013 gtr around a track or dragstrip....
I'm only posting this because I'd never seen this video before. Also this is one of the most annoying videos I've ever watched. Skip to 1:20 for the actual race.

Lewl Bro.
This is not the 700hp one, it has the kenne bell blower on it, making over 860hp for 2011. Not saying it would really make a difference from 700hp to 860hp when you can't put that much power down on street tires in the first place...but it is more fun. I would enjoy the shelby much more than the GTR. And from a strictly trolling perspective, hunnies dig the muscle, not the spaceship.
