This is the new addition to my car family.. She is a 99' Tornado Red? Wolfsburg Edition... Paid $1700.. And I would consider it a dang good deal being that she only has a little over 100k on her.. Anyways I am proud of a good buy and I thought some people would be too.

I don't know why, but the badging makes me feel cooler... Disregard my sn because mkiii's are just as nice in my opinion. Love the color.. She isn't perfect.. has a few rust spots and needs an exhaust system. Don't even care because I'm already loving the ride.

Pretty obviously it's all stock on the outside. The stereo deck is the only thing aftermarket on her. And I am proud of that!

All said she has a lot of potential, and you can consider this a semi-build for now. First on the list is definitely get

I am a damn noob and submitted the thread prior to finish -_-

ANYWAYS! First in the list will be fixing the muffler, and shortly after fixing the rust.

Thanks for reading, and PNW for life

Welcome, looks clean. I love Tornado Red . You can edit your original post if you want btw. Is there rust anywhere else on the car? Did you check the strut towers / floors / rockers ?

If it's one thing I learned with these cars is that you take care of the rust FIRST, before the rust takes care of you.

Well as far as I know is that there is rust down on the drivers side side skirt area, edge of the trunk lid, and a few other spots. All of smaller spots that I I believe are repairable. A family member of mine should be able to hook me up... hopefully.

And thanks for the tip, I am going to get in contact with him asap, probably sometime tomorrow. Also going to get the muffler situation looked at tomorrow as well.

I forgot to post a pic!!!

Original manuals... :D

Thank you all for your gracious comments..

And so the project moves forward.. Took lee by the shop the morning, and it's going to need everything from the cat back as far as exhaust goes. Cat is good  very happy about that lol
