That's right...the Alfa club had a track day at PR today, and a guy brought out his brand new Enzo. Pretty amazing car- Looks like a fighter jet on wheels. It has about 300 miles on it, and he brought it out to put a few easy laps on it. Oh, yeah, there were a pair of VR6 Golfs dicing pretty hard in the twisties-looked lie they were having a blast. One was Ginster Yellow, (with a turbo), the other was Dark metallic blue. There was also a really nice, Black A2 GTI. Big fun! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

....but no pic?

Honestly, I'm such a total computer zero, I haven't figured out how to post on here. If someone wants to host a few pics, I have a couple of the Enzo, and one of a nice turbo job on a Golf.

later on check out http://www.adamhoseyphoto.com , he had a nice professional digi camera setup and was taking pictures.
I'm pretty sure that he got pics of all 3 run groups, he was at our turn station (corner 7) for a long time, and I saw him shoot a bunch of pics of the black mk2.
I had a blast..... and I was only watching

The alfa club put on a very nice day for us. Too bad there was rain but man was it fun. I was driving the Blue GTI and a buddy of mine was driving the yellow supercharged one. Lots of fun and thanks again to the alfa club.

Glad you had fun! I was working turn 3 in the afternoon, and I really enjoyed watching you two chasing through the switchback, then passing all the cars on the straight up to 5. I love the exhaust notes on your cars as you revved up on the exit. (The black WRX sounded great, too.)
If anyone can host pics, I can email a few shots of the paddock/Enzo.

at least you could hear the VR's, (and boy did they sound nice)..... where I was at, I never heard the enzo open up the throttle more than 30%. I think for that much money, the engine should have come pre-broken in, I know I couldn't drive it for the 3000 mile break in period without bouncing off the rev limiter a few times

Actually, I heard him get on it pretty good on the straightaway after start/finish. He would more or less coast by, then you could hear this amazing sound after he went by the bleachers...like many superbikes, all perfectly synchronized. How'd you like to pay for a valve job on THAT bad boy. SIXTY VALVES!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
