I have a 2001 Wolfsburg AWW motor w/ stage II Revo. Lately I've been noticing that my car has been inconsistent and not as snappy. Before I would hit 19 psi of boost at 3200 rpm and now I still hit 19 psi of boost but the power feels spotty from 3k-4200 rpm then the turbo kicks in. My vacuum holds at 22 mmHg steady at idle and holds boost just fine so i believe there is no boost leak. I read a random post that i can't find anymore where someone said that they had the same problem and the fix was new injector o-rings and fuel filter. Has anyone experienced this?

1. be more patient for people to respond.

2. if you're making the same boost but the power is non-existent then a few things could be happening.

-You could have something causing it to pull timing
-You could have bad fuel
-You could be getting too much or too little fuel
-etc.

Buy or find someone with Vagcom and scan the car.

Log or have a friend watch block 20 during a 2nd and 3rd gear pull. Look for timing pull. If timing pull is happening, use lemmiwinks or appropriate software to back off the timing a little at a time until block 20 stops showing timing pull. Conversely, log or look at block 32 for fuel trims, if it's adding fuel, look for defective or inadequate fuel pressure regulator, clogged fuel filter or wrong pressure regulator. On my REVO stage 2 I had to back off timing about 3 degrees to keep my timing pull to a minimum as well as run a 4.5bar fuel pressure regulator. Max pull you should see is 5-6 degree's. Preferably 0 degree's, but up to 6 degree's is acceptable.
For further information about logging blocks and oher useful information, please refer to the FAQ at the top of the main forum page as well as the Ross-Tech website.
As for the NO POWER comment, if it's really bad it could be a clogged cat or a defective/dead or dying 02 sensor.

Thanks for the vital information. I have no cat since stage 2 requirements say you don't need one, so since I have revo tuning will i still get a cel if i have bad o2 sensors? i hope this isn't stupid questions:facepalm:
