well for one,
there is a Help and Test forum, which describes all the functions of the forum and posting on it.
main this to remember is,
swear words are automatically, edited by the system,
you cannot insult anyone directly, or insult someone on a personal level. (shouldn't insult anyone here we're all one big happy family)
cannot post PORN, which some of us don't fully agree on

no racist, sexist, stereotypical content.
for posting pictures, check the help and test forum
that will get you going
also if you make a post click on
"Email me when a reply is made to this topic"
to recieve an e-mail message whenever someone replies to you'r post or reply.

Probably 95% of the people here are extremely helpful and will point you in the right direction on just about anything.
If you want to try posting stuff, you can use the testing forum. For general questions about the forum, try the help forum. You'll find Vortex to be a great resource for a lot of things, not just cars. Welcome, and have a look around, I'm sure you'll be overwhelmed at first, then you'll find yourself spending WAYYYY too much time here
