First off, I have steel wheels. Make fun of me I don't care. Last night I started rust treating them before I paint them. Here are the results.
Before & after one coat of the NAPA metal rust treatment. All of the wheels originally looked like the one on the left. The one on the right I'm debating doing one more coat, letting dry and harden, then using rusty metal primer, then applying a topcoat of a flat black or semi-gloss black acrylic paint. Does anyone have any opinions on which topcoat might look better and why?
