No questions, I just love those heritage wheels.

OK, one question... Did you see it with the trunk open? If so, was it a useful size/opening? I've seen one photo and it looked better than the New Beetle's, but was hard to judge.
I not only saw it but had it for the day... Truck is very useful, actually. On top of that, the 50/50 split rear seat makes for a very functional convertible! PS: one button convertible operation rocks!

That's pretty sweet. What about the old New Beetle cabrio, did that have folding seats? I've never been in one.

Isn't the trunk in front? Plenty of room up there.

Oh sorry, wrong Beetle.

:)

It looks so tacky. The retro wheels don't help. The extended bulbous nose is...weird. The fat wheel arches look like a cartoon drawing...like it's the car from Noddy.
It's like a 1303 or something!

Don't worry, I'm not going to flame you. You're perfectly free to like/dislike any car you wish. Start stereotyping the owners and yeah, I'll call you on it, but you can dislike it all you want.

I wasn't actually referring to the length of the hood. That I'm fine with.

I'm referring to how the nose (bumper cover) juts out beyond where the tip of the hood curls down and ends.

It makes a shelf big enough to set a vase on.

Gotcha. To each his own.

one button top, but you still need to put the boot on manually. what sort of process is that?

i agree, pics of trunk are required.
