I have nitrous half way installed on my car, and soon I'm going to get a x-flow swapped into my A2.
If you do have it, what do you run? I have NX and i'm going to start with a 50 shot. What about you?

Re: Anyone have Nitrous on their x-flow 8v? (PhunkFX)

I run a 50 shot wet from a NOS kit. Look in the sig for power. The car is running on Digi 1 out of a Corado G60 w/ a custom chip but it runs very rich past 5k rpms. It should make more power once I get a proper chip.

i am running the nitrous express kit as well also a 50shot...
make sure you take out your performance chip if you have one...
also buy a set of bosch F6DTC sparkplugs that are 2 steps colder...
Run only premium fuel if you are using nitrous...
& yes go ahead & jet it up for 75hp shot....
your stock clutch will never last after 3- 1/4 mile runs....
do you have an exhaust & intake you should if you don't, that'll really help...

other than that, I love it, nitrous is like crack man, i went through 4 bottle fills in one weekend to & from the track.... I plan on running the 50shot w/ my Ns charger

Re: Anyone have Nitrous on their x-flow 8v? (thaiteboi)

I'm running nx 50 shot on my 1.8 8v right now and woah, it is smoking my clutch for sure. I smell it after using like 5 times! lol It sucks. Then if i try using it again, my clutch just slips and never grabs.
I'm getting a centerforce stage 3 clutch and pressure plate and a rpi lightend fly. Some HD motor mounts and a solid aluminum mount for the front so my header doesnt leak under high torque conditons. And to top it off i'm getting a nice remus muffler to ake my car sound better. I hope it all works out! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

DO NOT BUY A CENTERFORCE CLUTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just ahd to warn you now man, it is garbage... you would be better off running a 16v pressure plate & 8v clutch disc, that's all an ACT Stage 1 is really... or I have a clutch from http://www.speclutches.com you could run stage 2 i'm running a stage 3 with carbon/street disc....
one more option is ngpracing.com I am using their lightened / balanced flywheel it is pretty nice, they also sell a 6-puck organic street/strip clutch for $299
I would recommed @ least a 6-puck with nos, i have a 4-puck http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
