So not sure what I am doing with this thing yet. My best friend was suppose to buy this off me for a turbo project, but think he is leaving the mk2 scene and on to a mk6. The motor came out of a 1992 jetta and has 115,000 miles on it. The motor needs a head gasket. I had it on my car not long ago and still ran like a champ just lost oil and coolant because of head gasket. So I swapped it out with an Aba build.
Parts:
Motor 1992 2.0 16v CIS:
Euro 16v intake mani
TT race exhaust header and flow master muffler
I have all the CIS parts (ecu, wiring harness that has seen better days and fueling setup but one injector is missing the insert bung)
Also has the cold start delet on it
Extras : I have some newer stuff that will be thrown in like new thermostat housing ad coolant flange)
Transmission: 90mm trans with same mileage around 110k
Mildly used clutch cable
For motor and transmission and all parts and extras would like to get -$650
Driver and passanger 90mm axels only 100miles on each would like to get-$100
Brand new never used samco hose kit- $250 this setup has a 3-? Month waiting period to get shipped from Germany Part #tcs5116vc this is the seven piece kit for a 1.8 16v to my knowledge the only kit they have left to order
Brand new bbm solid motor mount-$65
Brand new only mocked up SS eaa engineering power steering lines-$45
The only things you would need to get is a speedo cable, exhaust piping, gasket kit and air box or filter to get it to run this is a perfect project starter I was told the motor is a European one but can't say that for sure have to try and look on the motor block. Pm me with emails for pic, but please be patient I am very busy and need to get all this stuff together. Would like to keep motor and trans as a package, but of someone buys it all I'll work on the prices otherwise prices firm.
May be interested in trades let me know what you got all payments I'd like to do PayPal or cash and will not ship motor and trans pick up only
Any other stuff I have for a mk2 laying around I will throw in on top
