the entire point of this thread; It seems to be about OP's progress from a FWD golf to a RWD GOLF.
Do you know why anyone might prefer RWD over FWD? Probably not.

It's definitely not to lift an mk4s front wheels of the ground on 250 ft-lbs of torque. Nice sand bagging though. I'm sure you do enjoy those burn outs in your near-as-makes-no-difference stock motor vr6 at the 1/4 mile strip, right before you pull a 20 second quarter mile on your stretched tires.

Not even going to ask why you would do this in the first place, let alone taking apart a good running car and giving yourself an extremely short deadline even for a fully equipped shop with 5 techs working on it.

With all that fabrication, you might as well have planned it out for a bit longer of a project and turned it into a V8 with the rear subframe your using and an M3 diff. Do a search for the 5.0 ford powered BMW 3 series, it was pretty sick and will certainly inspire you.

Either way, you have some balls to do this on such a short time scale, and it is a pretty cool conversion. Good luck and I hope it turns out like you plan.

lol @ that username ^^^

Sadly, if this doesn't work out the car is basically totaled. No going back from here.

If anyone is interested in some serious fab work, and would actually like to learn something aside from bbs rs and lower it...take a peek in this thread and prepare to see legitimate work being done.

Nah BRO you get me all wrong, I do burnouts with anything with Rimz you should see it when I mow my lawn YOLO.

But seriously burn outs are for those with a small weiner complex, out to try to prove somthing. case and point practicly any car can do a burnout, and no one cares.
I bet you're a lot of fun at parties:rolleyes:

Perhaps you should consider un-cuffing your kaki pants on occasion, and MAYBE pulling the stick out of your Ă ss.

Just sayin
